It has been a while since I last did a Friday Favourites feature, I’m hoping to make them more of a regular thing this year. Here is what has caught my eye and love this week.
A super cute Custard Cream Crochet pattern. Which you can see here.
I love Vanessa from Coco Rose Diaries photography, and just love this simple but stunning picture of some Forget Me Nots.
I am totally in love with this EPP from Down Grapevine Lane. Perfect fussy cutting!
And finally look at these beauties from Chase & Chloe, sadly my days of wearing heels this high are long gone so I can appreciate these from afar.
(Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post, I’m just sharing some of my favourite things from the week and are my own personal opinions, all links were correct at the time of publishing)
I’ve been feeling really inspired by sprinkles lately, the bright confetti of colours are sure to cheer anyone up, but why stop at a subtle scattering on top of a cupcake? Here are some fun examples of what more you can do with them!
It’s mainly when I came across the image above when I knew I had to blog about it, but truthfully whenever I see a picture of something with sprinkles it always puts a smile on my face.
The next time I get an ice cream I’m going to ask the man for extra sprinkles! Image source: Sparkles and Pretending.
How about a whole cake covered in colourful confetti! Image source: Waiting on Martha
For a slightly healthier option about adding them to some strawbs? Image source: Gastro Girl
The next time I go to make cookies I’m going to bake a giant sized funfetti cookie like this one above and it’s proved to be very popular having been pinned to pinterest a whopping 294 thousand times! You can see the process of how it’s made at Sally’s Baking Addiction.
And if you didn’t want a giant cookie, you could always make smaller ones like these. Image source: Averie Cooks
Finally to complete the sugar-filled high how about some funfetti marshmallow by Raspberri Cupcakes

I’ve mentioned in previous posts about my desire to learn to how to make a dress. I’ve still been a bit to scared to give it a go and have been sticking to my hexagons and sewing things for the shop. Really what I’m looking for is a pattern that is super simple to get me started, but being a beginner it’s hard to know what would be easy. Yesterday I spent rather a long time poring over patterns on the website Plush Addict, I have only recently come across this website and am yet to buy anything from them, but boy do they have a lot of nice things.
I thought I would share with you 5 of my favourite patterns I came across.
You can find them all here. Does anyone know of a super simple pattern I can have try with?
I hope you are managing to keep cool in this insanely hot weather.
I always enjoyed pottery classes at school, and the feel of the clay in my hands, sadly I was never really any good at it. There were more disasters than any kind of work of art or something of use. These artists below show us how it’s supposed to be done!

The weather is taunting me, the past couple of days there has been a slight hint of spring in the air, but then the clouds roll in and then the heavens open again, and just like that it’s February again. So for this very reason I had to start a Pinterest board dedicated to Easter and Spring my favourite time of year. And so, to cheer you up dear readers here are some lovely spring time inspirations to brighten the dull and dreary and very wet!! days.
